These people are not lucky yes they've had to catch a few lucky cards here and there and win a few coin flips as you go along but they are skilful at what they do and keep doing so well through there knowledge and understanding of the game not by pure luck.
I genuinely believe that the us government should understand this and provided that the games are run fairly and league nights are run honestly and openly then poker should be treated as just as much as a game of skill as any other sport or game. And the restrictions should be raised to allow a much better standard of play throughout the poker playing community and never having to break the financial institution or the law.
How about our MPs taking a look at raising the stakes never to silly amounts but to a fair price where players will bring it more severe and a higher standard of play will be reached over the way.
The amount of individuals who prosper at pub leagues however completely bust out when likely to the casino is as a result of massive gulf in the conventional of play.
We must look at having the Games raised to a min on £20 per 24 hours with a maximum shell out of £500 for pubs and £35 and a maximum shell out of £750 for private members clubs.
